ANGER

Anger
ANGER

Anger is an intense emotional response. It is an emotion that involves a strong uncomfortable and hostile response to a perceived provocation, hurt or threat.

Anger can consume you and devour you.  You can be justifiably angry because of things that are occurring in your life. However, it has you lashing out on others and hurting those you love.  Destroying relationship and creating those that should not be.  Yes, you can yell, scream and curse but destroy "No".  Because once you destroy there might be no turning back.

Do what you must with your anger and let it out.  But once you let it out- Let It Go!!!....
So people are not accepting of you.... who cares?
So your loved one or friend deserted you... who cares?
So they slam you at your job... Who cares?
So life sucks.... Who cares?

Praise God in all your circumstances, in all your situations, in ALL....

Because in the midst of all your hurt and anger when you Praise God he can move on your behalf...

WORDS OF WISDOM:
Do not say, "I'll pay you back for this wrong!" Wait for the LORD, and he will deliver you.

Stop and Listen...

I read this book . It has two main story but I was only really interested in one.  It is about a pastor and his church.  I am not going to give too much a spoiler but I do want to write about the story that impacted me.   There was an elderly gentlemen who was the maintence worker at the church. It was a mega church where most of the church members were wealthy. The elderly man committed suicide.

He left a letter for the pastor stating "Pastor Steven,  I want to thank you for all you've done for me.  I'm sorry for doing this.  I know I'm letting you down.  I've tried to hold on, but I just can't stand the loneliness anymore.  I know Jesus will forgive me.  I'm tired and I want to go to be with him. Love, Otis

Wow, that really hit me to the core.  You can be surrounded by so many and still be lonely.  People have lost the art of connecting with each other.  Caring and compassionate has gone out the window.  We prefer to throw people under the bus or watch them jump off the cliff.  We are just too busy to stop and help a human being.

You know if you give someone a smile, a hug or just stop and talk to them. Listen to them and encourage them.  It can change the outcome of their lives.

Talk is cheap...

Sometimes, I don't feel like talking or dealing with life. So much is occurring in life right now.
Arguing and fighting- a lot of unhappiness. Everyone is unhappy and no joy to be had.
It is hard and when you try to reach out for joy there is always someone there waiting to steal it. I pray to God that I find that Joy that he only can provide in this turmoil (confusion). I just will continue to pray.
