"LABELING"- An item used to identify something or someone.
Labeling people can be so dangerous. Labeling limits YOU and the person your are labeling or putting in a box. It has paralyzing effect on you as well as others. We always assume that our way is right way and hang out with people that are like us. If we befriend or invest in others we might experience new ways of thinking. Then there is the question of Love:
Jesus said:
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:34-35 (NKJV)
Are you demonstrating Jesus love to that person who you thinks they are better than you? Who you shame, demean and make you feel worthless. Remember that God is Love and if he lives inside of us. We have to demonstrate that Love.
Words of Wisdom: Allow Jesus's love to shine in you and so that others you meet will encounter that love.
GOD IS NOT MAD AT YOU...
Many of us we view God as a deity that is going to be mad at us for our doing and undoing. How many times in your life you have heard, "Watch out God is going to get you." Many times I am sure from many sources. But in actuality, God is a loving being who loves you and takes delight when you reach out to him just to thank him, praise him or worship him. This can change your whole perspective of your relationship with God.
9 “Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth,
so now I swear that I will never again be angry and punish you.10 For the mountains may move
and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain.
My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
Isaiah 54:9-10 (NLT)
God has made a covenant with us to no longer punish us or be angry with us. ( He will rebuke us but he will never cast us aside). His love is Faithful and ever lasting. His grace and mercy is abundant.
Just remember that God loves you and wants you to have a relationship with him.
