PRAYERS CHANGES THINGS

Prayer changes things...

It has always been hard for me to pray.  I was raised in a very legalistic church and I was force to pray. I never really understood that this was a way to develop a relationship with God.  So I did not like to pray and at times I still struggle.

But the Bible says, "Rejoice always,   pray without ceasing" 1 Thess 5:16. That means to pray always- in the car, at home, at work, in front of mirror, in the bathroom and everywhere you go.  A prayer does not have to be elaborate. It can be just saying "Help me God or Thank You God."

In prayer will develop a relationship/ an intimacy with God. Jesus loves us and wants to hear from us. Even if you think your prayer is weak- Jesus hears you.  Be confident that he hears you.  The Bible says in 1 Jn 5:14-15, "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.   And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him."  He hears us that is an Awesome thing and he is waiting to hear from us.

Words of Wisdom:  Pray to God with confidence and boldness and know that he is hearing you.
